Ridgid SeeSnake Mini Offers Self-Leveling Camera
The Ridgid SeeSnake Mini Video Inspection System features an optional self-leveling camera to ensure that the image you’re seeing is always upright. Aside from the self-leveling capability, there is also the difference in lighting between the two heads. The self-leveling camera is aided by 18 LED’s while the standard camera head illuminates the area with 6.
This version of the Ridgid SeeSnake is capable of inspecting pipes from 1-1/2 inches to 8 inches in diameter. The push cable can be extended out to 200 feet. There is a built in sonde that comes standard in the camera head. It operates at 512 Hz, making it easy to identify where the camera is located so you can pinpoint where the repair needs to be made before you start digging. The cable and camera are protected by the metal frame and rugged design of the drum from typical jobsite concerns.
The Ridgid SeeSnake Mini is a professional level inspection system, not a child’s toy. Pricing on the 14063 (not self-leveling) model is $5205.05 at Home Depot and doesn’t include the monitor. The self-leveling model, 48488, isn’t available at Home Depot at the moment, but I did find one online retailer that had it in stock for just under $6000 with no monitor. Ridgid backs the SeeSnake Mini with their lifetime warranty, which is one of the reasons we’re such big fans of their products.
